Sometimes because of the problems of the world we ask questions of doubt and even denial. Perhaps for a moment we are found in dense tragedy unaware of where to turn next. Many times, when we face these problems we go to the wrong sources. We may go the the world's leading medical analysis to solve our problem, only to find the results lacking. Thankfully, we have a place we can go to have all our problems cared for. Our God is one who sees our problems and our difficulties. Our God provides the best supplications and intercessions for our tragic circumstances. Our god can protect and provide because he is all powerful and above nature. Yet, what if I told you that the reason why God helps us in our infirmities is because he is mindful of us. He knows how we feel, he understands our pain, and subdues them. Our God's grace, mercy and love, demonstrates his mindfulness of the believer.

The great conflict of the book of Revelation is between God's faithful and Satan's dreadful tools. The apocalyptic literature of the dragon, beast, and pale rider of the book shows us how diverse and determined our enemy is against us. Our Lord opens the seven layers of all existence and humanity and the fifth seal caught my attention. John writes, "When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also" (Rev. 6:9-11 NASB).

Consider the cries of the godly--"How Long?" Maybe you have found yourself asking that same question. Because of the problems in our world, we wonder how is the Christian life fair with persecution and sin all around. Sometimes we may ponder why many who live sinfully are able to be successful. Too often, as we mentioned, the wrong questions are asked. Perhaps for a moment, questioning life isn't the solution to our pain; patience is often a forgotten virtue.

Now see the commendation of our God--"...And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest." By God offering a white robe to those who had been hurt, it shows us how truly aware He is of our circumstances. the symbol of a white robe is a picture of comfort and purity. God is offering a place and position of pure bliss in eternity.

Maybe you are currently struggling. Maybe you have been asking all the questions. Rest in the mindfulness of our great God. He will provide what he has promised! our current situations might not change for the better here, but with the goodness of God I promise you it will be far better in the hereafter. We truly serve a mindful God!
